2026 Competition Details

Western Welcome Week Parade- Saturday August 15th 

SCHEDULE:

7:45am Call (Be in the band room with uniform and instrument at 7:45)

8:20am Uniform Inspection and load busses

8:30am Busses depart for Downtown Littleton

9:00am Warm-up and basics in Gallup Park (beginning of parade)

10:00am Parade starts

12:30pm Parade should be over-congratulations!

1:00pm Get Water, Load Busses and return to CCHS

PARADE INFO AND MAP:

*The parade route goes down Littleton Blvd. (from Gallup st.) and ends at Arapahoe Community College.
Parents, We’d recommend parents park at ACC and walk to Main St./Littleton Blvd. and find a good spot to watch.

Legacy Marching Band Festival Itinerary 2026

8:00am Practice at GV 

10:00am Back to Fine Arts to change into uniform (Snack provided)

10:45am Inspection 

11am Depart for Adams 5-Star Stadium (9351 Washington St, Thornton, CO 80229) 

12:25pm Body Warm-up Time 

12:45pm Pit Warm-up Time 

1:00pm Music Warm-up Time

1:45pm Prelims Performance Time 

2:15pm Change out of uniform (Eat lunch *STUDENTS BRING LUNCH*)

3:00pm-4:15pm Watch last 6 bands perform 

4:45pm Retreat/awards (Drum Majors Only)

5:00pm Return to Busses to eat dinner (Dinner provided) or change back into uniform. Depending on our finals performance time we may eat after that performance. If we place in the top 12, we will perform at Finals. If not, we’ll return to CCHS after dinner. 

5:45pm Finals begin!! Our performance time depends on our Prelims placement.

9:30pm Retreat/Awards (Drum Majors Only) 

9:45pm Return to CCHS 

**BE SURE TO EAT BREAKFAST BEFORE YOU COME TO CCHS IN THE MORNING AND BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH. 

WE WON’T PROVIDE ANY FOOD UNTIL DINNER. Bring extra snacks/money for concessions if you think you’ll need more food than we provide. 

**EVERYONE NEEDS TO WEAR THIS YEAR’S BAND SHIRT UNDER THE UNIFORM.

1:00-2:30pm        Eat lunch at Fine Arts (provided by BPA) & change into uniform 

3:00pm                Inspection

3:15pm                Depart for Centaurus High School

4:15pm                Arrive and unload

5:00pm                Body Warm-up

5:25pm               Percussion Warmup

5:35pm                Music Warm-up

6:30pm               Performance Time!

7:30-8:00pm       Watch remaining bands perform

8:15pm               Awards Ceremony

8:45pm               Depart for CCHS

~10:00pm       Pickup at CCHS

Bring food and/or money for concessions if you want snacks after the performance. 
Parents should pick students up at CCHS Fine Arts at approximately 10:00pm. 

NOTE TO PARENTS:

Spectator Parking is limited to ONLY handicapped parking in the area of the stadium.
Parents and staff should plan on arriving with enough time before performances to walk from the parking available within 0.5 mile of the stadium at marked businesses and at Angevine Middle School or the Community Medical Center just 0.8 miles east of the stadium on South Boulder Road.

5:30pm               Body Warm-up (Area B)

6:00pm               Music Warmup (Area B)

6:35pm               On Deck

6:45pm               Performance

7:30pm               Watch CU Band

7:45pm               Drum Major Retreat

8:15pm                        Return to CCHS

Parents should pick students up at CCHS Fine Arts at approximately 9:00pm.
